Designs and organizes work in the field of wood processing. Selects chemicals, heat, gases, UV rays or a combination of these methods for processing wood.
Main activities
* determine the scope of work, coordinate different stages of wood processing, supervise the execution of wood processing work and control the quality;
* prepare technical conditions of production and materials, equipment, material flows, introduce materials, devices and equipment, manage workers;
* prepare equipment, quality control, testing, inspection and maintenance standards and policy directions according to engineering principles and safety rules;
* organize the technological process of wood processing, calculate the amounts and costs of materials, evaluate the commercial value of round and sawn timber, determine the properties of different types of wood to be processed;
* manage the storage, drying and realization processes of processed wood.
