Takes care of and looks after zoo animals kept in captivity for conservation, education, scientific research purposes and (or) to show them to the public, and their living conditions.

Main activities

* sort and provides food to zoo animals according to their dietary requirements;
* ensure cleanliness and hygiene in animal habitats, maintain appropriate temperature, humidity and lighting;
* observe animal behavior and health, diagnose diseases and provide first aid;
* manage and look after items in the animal habitat, including water, light and heating systems;
* work with veterinarians and other specialists to ensure animal welfare and health.
