Coordinates and controls fish breeding and rearing activities. Prepares fish health and welfare plans and provides emergency veterinary assistance.
Main activities
* lead the establishment of fish farms and breeding facilities, fish breeding, incubation of eggs, juvenile fish rearing, and ensure their nutrition, growth, and care;
* ensure a high-quality fish farming technological process and collect and records data on fish growth and diseases;
* lead fish farming employees and set performance objectives;
* ensure that all laboratory operations meet specifications and manage the supply of necessary laboratory equipment;
* develop operational budgets and ensures cost control, prepare operational reports;
* coordinate the improvement of reservoirs, the establishment of artificial spawning sites, and the transfer of fish from one reservoir to another.
