Plans and controls aquaculture production (marine invertebrates, other types of aquatic organisms) and manages it, optimizes production processes and ensures production quality. The representative of this profession is also the deputy manager.

Main activities

• monitors the demand for products in the market and, taking into account the type of production, plans the production of products;
• prepares and manages the budget, monitors production volume and costs, ensures cost control and prepares financial and operational reports;
• takes care of the purchase, operation and maintenance of machinery and equipment;
• leads aquaculture production workers, determines operational tasks and ensures work control;
• ensures and controls compliance with sanitary and hygienic norms during the production process;
• represents the company at exhibitions, events and forums.
