132201 - Chief geologist
Leads geological surveys and coordinates production activities related to oil or gas extraction. Also performs geotechnical survey control by assessing how beneficial mining activity can affect the structure and physical properties of land and its resources.
Main activities
* collaborate with other managers to establish production quotas and plan resource extraction sites;
* perform efficiency evaluation of production sites to determine suitability of employees, equipment, and technologies used and oversees the acquisition, operation, and maintenance of equipment and facilities;
* analyze technical tasks of geological and geotechnical surveys and evaluates geological data on the extraction of valuable minerals;
* prepare and manage the budget, ensuring expense control, and prepare activity reports;
* lead employees, set activity goals, and ensure work control;
* ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
