Determines the location of valuable minerals, identifies, classifies, and determines their quantity, geological properties, and structure. Consults with mine managers and engineers, carries out and plans mineral extraction activities.


Main activities

* consult with engineers, surveyors, geotechnical workers, and metallurgy specialists on environmental protection and land reclamation issues after mining operations;
* advise on the impact of geological factors on mineral extraction development, taking into account deposit costs, safety, and specific features;
* prepare and perform geological mapping, registration, sampling, and analysis of drill core and other deep rock samples, examine three-dimensional maps, deposits, drilling sites, or mines, identifies the location, size, accessibility, content, value, and potential profitability of mineral resources;
* provide consultation during site selection, plan surface mining and underground mining activities, implement safe and non-polluting extraction of ores, minerals, and other materials.
