Develops new breeds, improves methods used in animal husbandry to increase livestock productivity, sets requirements for feed, its storage, sanitary and appropriate product quality and animal health standards, improves livestock parasite and disease control methods, establishes slaughter methods, livestock product processing and storage preparation technologies.
