Consults on economic and environmental issues related to timber and forestry management, taking into account laws and other legal acts.
Main activities
* address various natural resource management issues;
* analyze the biological diversity and genetic resources of the forestry sector, prepare reports;
* protect forest plants from pests and diseases, apply chemical control measures, sanitation and liquidation measures;
* preserve and restore forest structures, biological diversity and ecological functions;
* monitor populations and habitats of wild animals and plants, determine the impact of logging and other forest preparation activities on them.
