Advises foresters on various forest cultivation and maintenance issues, studies various publications, explores methods used in the forests of their region and advises forest growers on how to achieve better results in forest cultivation, what measures to use to increase the effectiveness of the measures applied. Consults on economic and environmental issues related to timber and forestry management, taking into account laws and other legal acts.

Main activities

* address various natural resource management issues;
* analyze the biological diversity and genetic resources of the forestry sector, prepare reports;
* protect forest plants from pests and diseases, apply chemical control measures, sanitation and liquidation measures;
* preserve and restore forest structures, biological diversity and ecological functions;
* monitor populations and habitats of wild animals and plants, determine the impact of logging and other forest preparation activities on them.
