Studies the natural ecological system, that is, the mutual relations of living and non-living nature and the physical, chemical, and biological processes taking place in them, the characteristics of organisms' adaptation to the living environment, the distribution of animals and plants and the conditions affecting it. Determines whether they are favorable for the development of flora and fauna, what factors disrupt the balance of the natural environment, and how to avoid it.
Main activities
* analyze and explain ecological and biological data, use specialized software;
* identify and classify plant properties, recognize various bulb species by name, size, field marking, and stock marking;
* apply selection strategies and various habitat research methods, geographic information systems, global positioning systems, aerial photographs, records, and maps;
* assess knowledge, trends of cooperation between the research base and industry or the public sector;
* interpret and summarizes new and complex information from various sources.
