214101 - Operating engineer

Oversees the operation of technological and other equipment in a company or factory. Plans and coordinates their operation, technical maintenance, and repair. Takes care of emergency repair measures for building systems and production equipment. Determines operation strategies and procedures, oversees the management of safe work records, databases, backups, and archival copies of all programs and data.

Main activities

* create a strategy for building, equipment, and material usage, implement and maintain it;
* organize planned and unplanned equipment maintenance work;
* identify equipment failures, discrepancies in the technical condition of buildings, calculate the need for operational materials, prepare estimates;
* ensure proper setup of workplaces, investigate working conditions, identify discrepancies, and eliminate them;
* cooperate with company departments and suppliers, ensure proper operation of buildings and equipment.
