Designs and organizes production in the field of sewing manufacturing. Chooses material and fittings for the product model, designs cutting and sewing processes, operates sewing equipment.

Main activities

* coordinate production activities, analyze planning data, anticipate necessary actions, adjust processes and resources, reduce costs;
* create patterns of different sizes, styles and components of clothing, use software or manually according to sketches and product requirements;
* prepare technical and engineering drawings of clothing, leather goods and footwear, conveys design ideas and transfers production data to model manufacturers, technologists for production purposes;
* distinguishe materials, identify their differences, evaluate fabrics, taking into account their properties and use in clothing production;
* control, monitor and optimize electronic or computerized control panels, control the start and stop of the process.
