Determines the distance to points and their position on the terrain surface using specialized equipment. Uses distance measurements of specific aspects of construction sites, draws architectural drawings and prepares construction projects.
Main activities
conducts research, determines the location and properties of natural and man-made objects both on the surface, underground and underwater, uses remote measurement equipment and digital measurement tools;
performs calculations and collects technical data, determines earth curve corrections, crossings adjustments, aligns slopes, azimuth, marking points;
uses specialized software, creates technical projects and technical drawings;
prepares research reports, provides information about property [objects, land plots?] boundaries, area height and depth;
gives consent to move the final engineering design to the stage of actual production and assembly of the product.
