Works in a team of doctors, provides diagnostic, treatment and prevention services, as well performs less complex medical procedures. Performs independent activities, but is always together with a doctor and carries out tasks assigned to them.

Main activities

* performs a comprehensive patient clinical assessment, history, physical condition and necessary diagnostic tests;
* forms a diagnosis and provides recommendations for treatment, prescribes medicines and issues prescriptions;
* performs less complex medical procedures, blood tests, electrocardiograms or injections;
* provides patients with information about their diseases and their treatment plans;
* communicates with other health care specialists, nurses and doctors, ensures patient well-being.
