Takes care of pregnant women, families raising children, provides midwifery assistance during childbirth and postnatal period, nurses the mother and newborn, works in sanitary education.

Main activities

* monitors women during pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum periods;
* monitors the health of the mother and newborn, measures temperature, blood pressure, heart rate, performs examinations and other procedures;
* performs simple and complex childbirth procedures, takes care of the mother and baby's well-being;
* provides assistance in various situations, such as bleeding or difficult childbirth;
* provides necessary advice and support to expectant mothers on healthy lifestyle and child care.
