Investigates the interaction of drugs and medicines with organisms, living systems and their parts. Performs scientific research and determines which substances people can use and which substances have suitable biochemical properties for treating diseases. Has knowledge and competencies in pharmacology, biochemistry, chemistry and other scientific fields.

Main activities

* perform laboratory tests, determine the pharmacological properties and effects of drugs on the body;
* perform in vitro and in vivo experiments, determine the toxicity and effectiveness of drugs;
* analyze and interpret research results, provide reports and recommendations;
* supervise and update laboratory equipment, materials and reagents;
